Super Tuesday has now come and gone. The major party candidates for president have all but been decided. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t vote in your party’s primaries if they haven’t happened yet! I’m sorry to sound like a broken record on this, but I’ve seen how participation in primaries falls off once national candidates have been determined. That still doesn’t change the importance of all the crucial state and local races that will be effectively decided in the primaries. Extremists in both parties are licking their chops at the prospect of pushing through candidates for Congress and statewide office who do not represent the will of the majority. They’re counting on voters to not pay attention until November, when it will be too late. The only way to stop them is by Turning the Primaries Pink.
